JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Two Jacksonville men were arrested on false imprisonment charges after they forced another man into their vehicle on the city's Southside Monday, authorities said.
Matthew Khosrozadeh, 21, and Clayton Cook, 19, were arrested after police responded to a reported kidnapping in the 3900 block of Darly Drive, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
On the way to the scene, JSO's air unit told police the suspects had fled the location and were driving south on Skycrest Drive.
Police says a traffic stop of the suspects' vehicle was made at the intersection of Skycrest Drive and Stone Road. Cook was driving the car and was arrested during the traffic stop.
The victim told police that the suspects pulled up to the reported kidnapping location and hit him. Police say the victim said after being hit, he was forced into the vehicle and the suspects told him that they would take him to a bridge and kill him.
The victim stated that while he was in the vehicle, he was hit repeatedly.
Khosrozadeh told police that he videotaped the victim confessing to his involvement in a burglary at the suspect's home. Officers at the scene say they the video showed Khosrozadeh holding the victim while hitting him and asking who burglarized his home.
Both suspects were charged with false imprisonment, while Cook also received two counts of possession of counterfeit a drivers license.
