JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Traffic will be slowed for six to eight hours on Richard Street and on part of University Boulevard just west of Interstate 95 after a tractor-trailer broke in half while the driver tried to turn a corner.
Three lanes on Richard and the turn lane on University will be closed until the wreckage can be cleared, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
An employee at a nearby Racetrac gas station said the driver came in and told him he tried to turn the corner and the trailer broke in half.
