FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke in Southwest Florida Tuesday morning about hurricane preparedness and the tax-free holiday associated with it.
The press conference was set up at a Home Depot in Fort Myers and also featured Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie and Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo.
DeSantis wanted to remind Floridians of the Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday that is going on until June 14.

Hurricane season started June 1 and runs through November 30.
