JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Miami officials responded to a helicopter crash in the ocean on Saturday afternoon.

Around 1:10 p.m., Miami Police and Miami Beach Fire responded to the scene along with several other agencies.

Two helicopter occupants were rushed to the hospital. They are both in stable condition, at this time.

This afternoon at 1:10 p.m., MBPD received a call of a helicopter crash in the ocean near 10 Street. Police and Miami Beach Fire responded to the scene along with several partner agencies. Two occupants have been transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Unit and are currently listed in stable condition. The beach area between 9 to 11 Street is currently closed. The FAA is responding to the scene.
