ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — The 4-year-old boy at the center of a Missing Child Alert issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Tuesday has been found dead.
The Escambia County Sheriff's Office began searching for Darrel Beck near Barrineau Park School Road in Molino, Florida Tuesday morning. Deputies noted that he was a nonverbal child with autism.
After an exhaustive search involving over 100 first responders, the sheriff's office said Darrel Beck was found dead.
"Please keep the family and friends in your hearts and prayers," the sheriff's office said.
