PALM BAY, Fla. —At least three people were confirmed dead after a helicopter went down in Brevard County.
The crash reportedly happened near Osmosis Drive and Degroodt Road in Palm Bay, authorities said. First responders arrived around 2 p.m. to the scene.
While the helicopter, operating out of Melbourne Airport, is an older military-style aircraft, it was not believed to have been operating in any kind of military capacity.
There is no threat to the general public at this time, however, police are asking people to avoid the area.
