GEORGIA, USA — Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, U.S. Sen. JD Vance, are expected to visit Georgia for two separate events this upcoming week.

The Republican presidential nominee is anticipated to deliver remarks on the Tax Code and U.S. Manufacturing in Savannah on Tuesday, Sept. 24. According to a release, Trump is expected to deliver remarks outlining his plan to lower taxes for American business owners and will highlight the importance of buying American made goods for the economy.

The event is at the Johnny Mercer Theatre Civic Center at 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave in Savannah. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and he is expected to deliver remarks at 1 p.m.

Meanwhile, his running mate, JD Vance, is also making a trip to The Peach State in an effort to win Georgia. The vice presidential nominee is hosting a Get Out the Vote Rally in Flowery Branch on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The event is being held at The Venue at Friendship Springs at 7340 Friendship Springs Blvd in Flowery Branch. Doors are expected to open at 2 p.m. and Vance's remarks are anticipated for 5 p.m.

Both Trump's and Vice President Kamala Harris' campaigns have made Georgia one of the states to focus on as the 2024 Presidential Election inches closer. For example, Vance was in metro Atlanta on Sept. 16 for a campaign event, and Harris' running mate, Tim Walz, made the trek to the state the following day. In addition, Harris was in Atlanta on Friday to discuss her support for abortion rights.
