JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police investigated a shooting at the Washington Heights Apartments Wednesday.
The shooting occurred around 12:20 p.m. in the 4200 block of W Moncrief Road, according to police.
Officials say two off-duty officers responded after hearing multiple gunshots and located an adult male victim.
That victim was taken to UF health, according to officials.
The investigation is ongoing as police and JSO's Violent Crimes Task Force remain at the scene Wednesday afternoon.
