This one is not an April Fool's joke. But it could be today's sign that you are old.
Tatyana Ali, 37, who played the Ashley Banks, the youngest member of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air family, has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Vaughn Rasberry, an assistant English professor at Stanford University.
She confirmed the news to both Entertainment Tonight and People.
She just didn't plan on announcing it yet. She went public to pre-empt getting outed by Entertainment Tonight.
"I just got off the plane to discover all of our good news is out!!" she wrote on Facebook Thursday night. "I'm so excited for this new chapter. Wife and mommy all at the same time. Luckily, I'll be sharing the adventure with my best friend. We feel so blessed."
Their wedding ceremony, set for this summer, is being adapted to include the bundle of joy.
"Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely," Ali told Entertainment Tonight. "We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing!"
