JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Many gathered Saturday at Jacksonville National Cemetery in remembrance of fallen service members.
Flags were put on the rows of white headstones at 9 a.m. before officials spoke. Among those in attendance were many veterans, state attorney Angela Corey and officials from Marco Rubio's office.
The message of the gathering was both one of remembrance but also teaching a younger generation why it is important to remember those who have fought for America and fallen.
The service is over, but the cemetery is open to visitors until 4:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
