Upon investigating, JSO said they discovered that the suspect, identified as Baumann-Arguello shot and killed the man during a drug exchange. Police said the victim tried to reach into his vehicle and steal drugs from his lap, but Baumann-Arguello shot the man several times and the woman once.

Witnesses told police that Baumann-Arguello was the only one with a gun during the meeting.

Police also say that around this time, JSO received a phone call from a man who said he shot someone who was trying to rob him. They say this call and the shooting were related.

Baumann-Arguello was arrested and faces murder charges, along with aggravated battery and armed possession of drug charges.
