The city of Jacksonville has a new, free virtual healthcare service for residents without insurance, highlighted at a recent city meeting.

With Hurricane Milton looming, Healthlink JAX is available 24/7 that provides on-demand video visits with certified doctors.

The service connects patients with free local clinics and existing community resources.

To access Healthlink JAX, call 904-925-CARE (2273).

The program offers the following:

  • Accessible Doctors: Healthlink JAX will connect residents with a telehealth doctor.
  • Guidance With Follow-Up Visits: Healthlink JAX guides residents through the process to ensure them get the help they need, including setting up a primary care doctor visit.
  • Additional Connections to Local Providers: After the first visit, Healthlink JAX can help schedule follow-up visits with one of its Duval Safety Net Clinics.
