WAYCROSS, Ga. — The Waycross Police Department is mourning the death of one of its detectives.
Detective Rodney Davis passed away on Friday, according to Waycross police.
"Today we lost a true blessing to anyone who ever met him. Please pray for the loved ones of Detective Rodney Davis. Rodney, you will definitely be missed and will always be loved," the department wrote on Facebook.
The post did not say how he died.
