Jacksonville City Council members sworn in

The event will take place at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts located at 300 Water Street.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The installation ceremony for the 2023-2027 Jacksonville City Council Members will take place Thursday at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts located at 300 Water Street. 

The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the ceremony begins at 6 p.m. You can watch live here.

As part of this ceremony, Council President Designate, Ron Salem, and Council Vice President Designate, Randy White, will be sworn in. The City Council President and Vice-President are elected to serve by a vote of the 19 members of the Jacksonville City Council. 

This position serves from July 1 for a term of one year. 

The 2023-2027 City Council Members are:

  • Kevin Carrico, District 4

  • Michael Boylan, District 6
