JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A JetBlue flight from Orlando to New York had to be grounded due to an unruly passenger Thursday. The Jacksonville International Airport said in a statement that the flight had to be diverted to Jacksonville.
JetBlue said the passenger was acting erratically shortly after takeoff.
When the flight landed in Jacksonville, law enforcement was called to assist in escorting the passenger off the aircraft.
The flight left again for New York and landed successfully Thursday.
The FBI said they came to assist, which is protocol in these situations. The passenger is not in custody and no charges are being filed.
