It’s time to celebrate our teacher of the week. Today we’re taking a trip back to the medieval times with the 4th grade students at Kipp Bessie Coleman Academy focusing on one amazing teacher, Ms. Grier.
Ms. Grier has been teaching for 10-plus years and she knows what it takes to keep a classroom engaged.
Her 4th grade class of scholars learn it all, but the subject that sticks out the most is world history. Sometimes the students even dress up in costume to really get a feel for what it was like.
Ms. Grier says although she's been teaching for one year at KIPP there's no other place she'd rather be.
