JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s an anchor for many people in need in our community. Sulzbacher provides opportunities for some of our unhoused neighbors in Jacksonville to achieve a better life by supporting the areas of housing, healthcare and hope.
On Thursday, Oct. 19, the Jacksonville Center for Performing Arts will host 'Sulzbacher Transformations.' Sulzbacher CEO Cindy Funkhouser and Sulzbacher Boar Chair Paola Parra Harris joined GMJ to preview the event.
Transformations is Sulzbacher’s largest fundraiser.
It’s an event where the stories of people whose lives have been transformed through Sulzbacher’s services can be celebrated. The event provides general operating support for the agency. Sulzbacher works with people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in three areas: income, housing and healthcare.
