JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Student Transportation of America partnered with the Sulzbacher Center in downtown Jacksonville Friday morning to help community members in need this holiday season.
Employees from STA’s Jacksonville terminals volunteered to collect vital hygiene products and snacks to fill more than 100 Christmas stockings, a press release said. The company has donated $2,500.
Local families currently experiencing homelessness received the items during Sulzbacher’s annual Christmas breakfast. The holiday stockings and donation check were delivered Friday morning to the Sulzbacher Downtown via a school bus driven by STA’s Santa Claus.
