STARKE, Fla. — Update: Power has been restored, according to the City of Starke's Facebook page. The outage was due to an emergency repair made to the only feeder line from the Florida Power & Light Company to the city's substation.
The City of Starke will experience a power outage overnight.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, the power will go out for two hours, according to the Bradfield County Sheriff's Office and the City of Starke's Facebook page.
This is because the City of Starke had an unexpected issue with the power grid.
The power outage is expected to begin any time between 10:28 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.
City of Starke officials are on scene and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
