ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A rooster was taken from a St. Augustine BBQ restaurant and now the owners are looking for answers and the return of "Tip Toe."
Two people in a red vehicle are seen in surveillance footage between 1:15-1:45 a.m. on April 21. The restaurant says the pair were "chasing the roosters and grabbing a 2x4 and trying to pin them in a corner." In a recent post, the restaurant says the pair "... had full intention of hurting them."
"Our beloved Rooster “Tip Toe” has gone missing and we are now offering a reward for his safe return," the restaurant said in a social media post. "He has a slight limp so stands out from other roosters. he has been with us for 4 years and is very loved and missed here. No questions asked."
