ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.—A boyfriend and girlfriend are behind bars in St. Johns County Jail Tuesday night after the body of a St. Augustine woman was found buried off County Road 208, authorities say. Police incident reports say that Hudson was stabbed to death.
John Harry Branson, 39, allegedly led authorities to the remains of Jordie Randall-Kirkwood Hudson, St. Augustine Police Chief Loran Lueders said at a press conference Tuesday. Hudson, 46, was last seen at the Giggling Gator on King Street in St. Augustine on April 9 and was reported missing this past Sunday.
Branson is being charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond, police say.
Christeen Janelle-Linn Thomas, 29, was charged as an accessory to Hudson's murder and is in St. Johns County Jail on $25,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
