JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- A large water main break has forced the closure of the southbound lanes of Phillips Highway near the Avenues Mall.
The incident was caused by a contracting crew in the area, officials with JEA tell First Coast News.
Phillips Highway southbound is shutdown between the mall and I-295 and drivers are urged to seek an alternate route.
No customers in the area have lost water service, JEA says.
