NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla — UPDATE- Rapsys was reportedly found Friday morning safe in South Carolina.
Authorities have found a missing 27-year-old Jacksonville woman in South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
According to Missing People in America, Jessica Rapsys was seen Tuesday evening before reportedly getting lost on her way to her aunt's house in Allendale, South Carolina. She was found Friday, SLED said in a press release.
“Finding Jessica was a team effort,” said Allendale County Sheriff James Freeman. “We all worked together and did not give up hope.”
Rapsys was taken to the hospital where she will be evaluated and provided any necessary medical treatment, a SLED press release said.
"The Rapsys family would like to extend their deepest thanks to everyone who helped find Jessica, and respectfully asks for privacy at this time," the release continued.
