JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — School districts across the First Coast closed as Hurricane Helene blew through the area, leaving behind downed trees, isolated flooding and extensive power outages in its wake.
Some schools will remain closed Monday, and even Tuesday, as emergency response continues in areas harder hit by the storm.

Northeast Florida
Duval County
Duval County Public Schools will reopen Monday.
Clay County
Clay County District Schools will reopen Monday.
Columbia County
Columbia County schools will reopen Tuesday.
Bradford County
School is open Monday.
Nassau County
All Nassau County schools will reopen Monday, including after-school activities.
St. Johns County
The school district has not announced if it will be open or closed on Monday.
Baker County
Baker County schools will reopen Monday.
Flagler County
The school district has not announced if it will be open or closed on Monday.
Putnam County
The school district has not announced if it will be open or closed on Monday.
Southeast Georgia
Camden County
The school district said schools will be closed on Monday.
Glynn County
Glynn County schools will be closed Monday.
Ware County
Ware County Schools will remain closed through Tuesday. School officials said the situation will be reassessed to determine when school will be able to resume operations.
