Jacksonville public pools you can swim in this summer

The City of Jacksonville announced the opening of 28 community pools the public can take a swim in over the summer. 

The city has cooling centers available when heat index reaches 108 degrees, but the public can visit any of the city's 28 pools and 16 splash pads any day of the week until August 4. 

The outdoor pool hours are Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
