ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — The Atlantic Beach Police Department is warning residents about a mail thief that stole from numerous mailboxes in Atlantic Beach Tuesday night.
The police department said mailboxes were hit mainly west of Mayport Road.
Police are asking homeowners in this area to check their surveillance cameras to see if they have footage of the incident.
If your cameras have footage of someone going through your mailbox, you're urged to call their detective division at 904-247-5859.
Additionally, if you think you had mail stolen, police are advising you to check your bank accounts and credit report for any potential fraud.
