DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A 13-year-old who says he was dared to call in a bomb threat at a Flagler County middle school is facing charges in what the sheriff says was a copy cat call after other threats were made throughout the district earlier in the week.

Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly says he made the call this morning after a friend dared him to.

The teen - who is not a student at Buddy Taylor Middle School - was arrested in Daytona Beach today.

The teen is facing charges of a false report of a bomb threat, tampering with evidence and unlawful use of a two-way device.
