Police: 1 hurt in Southwest Jacksonville shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is expected to be OK after being shot in Southwest Jacksonville Sunday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

JSO said the shooting happened in the 7800 block of Enderby Avenue South at around 7:45 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene they found a man in his late 20s suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Police said one person has been detained for questioning in connection to the shooting.
