JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — An elder man died in a house fire Saturday night in Jacksonville Beach, according to the Jacksonville Beach Fire Department (JBFD).
Just before 10 p.m., JFBD received a call about the fire in the 700 block of 11th Street North. Two rooms were involved in the blaze. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue and police also helped work the fire.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but authorities said it does not appear to be foul play.
Fire rescue is expected to be on scene through early Sunday morning.
