ORANGE PARK, Fla. — A 36-year-old Tallahassee man was struck and killed by a sedan near Wells Road and Blanding Boulevard, a Florida Highway Patrol report said.
At approximately 9:07 p.m., the sedan driven by a 44-year-old man hit the pedestrian, who was pushing a shopping cart, the report said. It was the second traffic-related fatality in Clay County Wednesday night.
The pedestrian failed to observe the sedan and after the crash was taken to HCA Orange Park Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
