JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police investigated a fatal crash in Northeast Jacksonville Saturday, leading to a road closure for hours.
According to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, one person was pronounced dead on scene after a crash on Sawpit Road's 13000 block. Details pertaining to the victim or the crash have not been released.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office sent out an advisory at 9:47 a.m. and said the road reopened around 12:26 p.m.
