LAKE CITY, Fla. — Who knew a deer could be so fawn'd of art?
A deer busted through Gateway Art Gallery in Lake City Wednesday morning, with the gallery referring to the buck as a "four-legged art critic." Authorities removed him without any injuries or major trauma.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers are working on rehoming the deer.
The gallery said officers told them it's likely rutting behavior, where "it's pretty common for bucks to do silly things to impress the girls."
We're waiting to confirm if he preferred the work of late 19th century impressionist of Edgar De(er)gas, surrealist Frida Kahldoe, the more modern approach of Jean-Michel Bucksquiat or the political tone of Bamb-ksy.
