FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. - A Kinder Morgan employee was killed in an industrial accident involving a crane at the Port of Fernandina Friday, authorities said.
The Fernandina Beach Police Department received a call about the incident at 8:15 a.m.
The employee, Timothy Dubberly, 58, was operating a crane for electrical work. For some reason the cab of the vehicle separated from the crane and Dubberly fell approximately 100 feet, police said.
