JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help locating a 10-year-old boy last seen on the city's Westside Friday.

JSO said Iniko Patton was reported missing after leaving a home on Hamden Road West. He was last seen around 5:30 p.m. near Cheswick Oak Avenue and Argyle Forest Boulevard, the sheriff's office said.

Due to Iniko's age, officers are concerned for his safety.

Iniko is described to be 4-feet-7 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He reportedly left home without shoes or a shirt, wearing a black bonnet and red basketball shorts.

JSO released an update at 6:45 a.m. Saturday:

"We are asking anyone within the area of Cheswick Oak Avenue and Argyle Forest Boulevard, on the city’s Westside to please check their cameras and conduct a thorough check of their properties, to include sheds, garages, or any place where someone could potentially seek shelter. We are also asking those in the adjoining neighborhoods in Clay County to keep an eye out as they are traveling around."

If you have information that could help officers locate this child, please contact the sheriff's office at 904-630-0500.
