Comcast is experiencing a nationwide outage on Monday that's affecting at least thousands of its television and Internet customers, according to an outage tracker website.
First Coast News has received several calls and emails detailing an outage in the Jacksonville area.
According to Comcast's website, the outage reports began at 8:20 a.m. Within just an hour, they had more than 400 outages reported.
The worst outages in the state of Florida are in south Florida, but the First Coast area is affected significantly as well, with most of the outages reported south of St. Augustine but north of Palm Coast on the coast in St. Johns County.
There is no estimated time of restoration.
A majority of the outages seem to be centered around major population areas, including Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, New York, Chicago and Miami.
Comcast released a statement Monday regarding the outages:
We have repaired the temporary network interruption that impacted some of our services this morning. Our engineers continue to work on this issue and almost all services have already been restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused our customers.

Clarifications and corrections: An earlier version of this article attributed the outage map to Comcast's website. The outage map is actually from an unaffiliated website called Down Detector.
