YULEE, Fla. — Wawa is set for Wildlight in Yulee, targeting a grand opening Thursday morning.
The Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain that has been rapidly expanding across Florida is now making a foray into Nassau County for the first time.
The 6,119-square-foot convenience store is set to open 8 a.m. at 50 Daydream Ave. and a ceremonial toast at 8:30 a.m. it is located across the street from Wildlight's Publix and near Rayonier's headquarters.
There will be a T-shirt giveaway for the first 100 customers and a free hot coffee of any size provided for all customers. At 8:30 a.m., the store will host a ceremonial toast, a Hoagies for Heroes hoagie building competition, and a ribbon cutting.
