YULEE, Fla. -- The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is calling off the search for a suspect accused of trying to lure a child into his car after investigators debunked the child's report, authorities said Monday.
The Sheriff's Office released a sketch of the suspect, described as a middle-aged man with dark hair, a mustache and a few missing teeth, last month after a child reported he had asked her to get into his sports car near Nassau Oaks Drive in Callahan Jan. 24.
But following their investigation, deputies determined the reported incident never actually happened.
