JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A sailor stationed at NAS Jax has died days after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.
Troopers say Daniel Crawford, 31, crashed into 24-year-old Kody Kinkton's motorcycle Feb. 26 on US-17 near Collins Road.
Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office say Crawford had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and breath smelling of alcohol.
A GoFundMe page for Kinkton has already surpassed the $15,000 goal in just three days. It sits at $16,770.
