Two minors are safe after a home caught on fire in the Oakleaf area Friday.
Multiple agencies were called out to the home in the 900 block of Autumn Pines Dr., including the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, Clay County Fire and Rescue and the Clay County Sheriff's Office. Crews said roughly 45 crews responded to the scene.
Neighbors say the fire is believed to have started in the garage and that they heard an explosion.
They also said two minors were inside the home when the fire started, but they were able to successfully escape with the family pets inside.
There are no injuries reported in this incident, but the home appears to be at a total loss, crews said.
The start of the fire is under investigation.
