JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 37-year-old old man is dead following a crash with a sedan early Thursday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Three lanes were blocked as of 6:45 a.m.
The crash report said a white Toyota sedan and a motorcycle driven by the victim were traveling southbound on Interstate-95 near Baymeadows Road around 2:49 a.m.
The motorcycle struck the rear of the Toyota sedan, FHP said, and the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries.
The right southbound travel lane and the southbound on ramp to Interstate 95 from Baymeadows Road were initially closed due to the investigation, FHP said.
