ORANGE PARK, Fla. — A missing teen from Orange Park has now been found, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
FDLE canceled its Missing Child Alert for 13-year-old Aleysha Hicks Thursday. She was reported missing earlier this week, but has since been found safe, according to FDLE.
The Orange Park Police Department says Hicks had called her mother on Monday saying she wanted to come home. Police say she was staying in different hotels on the Southside since Christmas Eve.
Police say her mom picked her up in Jacksonville when arguing started in the car on the way home. Around the area of 1900 Park Avenue, police say she got out of the car and ran away again.
