JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was found shot dead inside a home on Jacksonville's Southside Friday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said the adult male victim was found inside a home in the 4100 block of Crownwood Drive.
JSO has detained one suspect, multiple witnesses and multiple family members found at the home. Police do not know the relationship between the suspect and the victim or what led up to the shooting. The deadly shooting is believed to be a domestic situation and police said there is no danger to the public.
The age and name of the victim and suspect have not yet been released.
