JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man has been charged after the shooting death of another man in Northwest Jacksonville Wednesday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office
Jakari Mills, 25, has been charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a state felon.
Crews say the shooting happened in the 5200 block of Amazon Avenue around 8 p.m.
JSO located a man in his 60s on the ground with at least one gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died, says JSO.
