JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was arrested in connection with a house fire in Brooklyn early Sunday morning that left a dog burned, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
Fire crews responded to the home along Magnolia Street after a call around 3 a.m.
A JFRD spokesperson said the home is under renovation. No one was hospitalized.
However, a man was arrested in connection to the fire, and may face additional charges for allegedly bringing his dog into the home where it suffered burns, the spokesperson told First Coast News.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating the fire.
