ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — About two miles east of Interstate 95 on County Road 210, new businesses are coming to the Beachwalk community including Kilwins, known for its ice cream and chocolates.
Jenny Schuemann, Vice President of Leasing with PEBB Enterprises says this will be the store’s first drive-through location.
“They should be getting their certificate of occupancy any day,” Schuemann said.
Several other restaurants are also coming to the master-planned community this year. BurgerFi is expected to open this summer followed by Panera Bread, Starbucks, and Panda Express. According to Schuemann, they will all have drive-throughs.
A 130-room Compass by Margaritaville Hotel is expected to break ground this year and open in 2025.
“It definitely goes with the beach theme of Beachwalk,” Schuemann said. “So, it’s fun and vibrant, lots of colors … It should be a really great addition to the market.”
Bagels R Us, Island Fin Poke, Supercuts, and an AT&T store are also coming to the development across from Publix which is already open.
"We are done with all the outparcel spaces. Eleven outparcels along 210 are all spoken for. We do have the lagoon parcels. We have a signed lease with Fysh Bar and Grill. They have a location in Port Orange that's doing very well. So, they are working on their plans and permits now. Hopefully, they will be open at the end of the year as well. And we have a handful of other lagoon parcels that we're looking for 5000 to 8000 square foot sit down restaurants for."
And nearby, a Lowe’s is under construction at County Road 210 West and Beachwalk Boulevard.
