JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A family of four were displaced from their home early Wednesday morning due to a house fire in the E-Town area of Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
The fire happened around 1:30 a.m. and was caused by a lithium-ion battery from a golf cart in the home's garage on Fulcrum Avenue.
JFRD says no injuries have been reported from the fire, as an adult and two children escaped safely. A second adult was not at the home during the time the fire occurred.
