Here's what Pride events are happening across the First Coast🌈

The Fernandina Beach Pride Parade & Festival kicks off at 10 a.m. at Central Park with more than 100 vendors and seven food trucks.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The start of June marks the start of Pride month, and an opportunity to highlight the Northeast Florida LGBTQ+ community.

From parades and festivals to live performances, here's a look at Pride events happening this month across the First Coast.

June 5 - Bold City Pride Art Walk

The theme for this June's First Wednesday Art Walk is "Bold City Pride"

  • When: Wednesday, June 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown Jacksonville, James Weldon Johnson Park
  • What: Local vendors, live music and performances.

June 6 - Jacksonville Pride Kickoff at Aardwolf Brewery

The San Marco brewery is celebrating Pride month with the re-release of one of its special brews, JACKSONVILLE PRIDE, an English-style pale ale in collaboration with Equality Florida.

  • When: Thursday, June 6, at 5 p.m.
  • Where: Aardwolf Brewery, 1461 Hendricks Ave.
  • What: Pride celebration with special drinks and limited edition Pride T-shirts.

June 8 - 2024 4th Annual Fernandina Beach Pride Parade & Festival

Fernandina Beach is hosting a series of Pride events, including its fourth annual Pride parade and festival with more than 100 vendors and seven food trucks.

  • When: Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Where: Central Park, 1200 Atlantic Ave.

June 8 - Pride Night at Hardwicks Bar

Hardwick's Bar in Downtown Jacksonville has several events planned for Pride month.

June 13 - Jumbo Shrimp Pride Night

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp is hosting the fifth annual Jumbo Shrimp Pride Night 2024. Tickets cost $15 to attend. The deadline to purchase tickets is June 12 at 11:59 p.m. A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to JaxRCPride.

June 13 - JASMYN'S 4th Annual Pets for Pride Photo Contest

The nonprofit, JASMYN, says June 13 is the halfway point for the organization's 4th annual 'Pets for Pride Photo Contest,' which is raising money for "vital services that support the health and empowerment of LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults in Northeast Florida."

  • When: Contest entry and voting runs through 11:59 p.m. on June 30
  • Where: Voting done online
  • What: Contest with prize for cutest pet photo

June 15 - Springfield Pride Drag Brunch

The Springfield Pride Drag Brunch is a fundraising event with all proceeds going directly to JaxRCPride. General admission tickets are $15.

  • What: Brunch and drinks with a drag show.

June 15 - Bold Love Fest at Daily's Place

The Bold Love Fest is a concert and festival Pride event featuring performances from Ava Max, Aly & AJ, G Flip and VINCINT. The festival will be hosted by Monét X Change and Trinity The Tuck Taylor. Tickets start at $40.

June 15 - St. Augustine Pride Parade

The St. Augustine Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. The community is invited to attend. Paige Mahogany will be the Grand Marshal and MC for the event.

  • Where: Parade begins at 75 King Street ending at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

June 15 - LGBTQ+ Short Film Screening & Forum

Three LGBTQ+ documentary films will be screened during an event hosted by the Amelia Island Museum of History and Fernandina Beach Pride. The films will explore the changes queer Floridians have experienced over the last 50 years. A discussion led by Dr. Theresa Sparks will follow the screening.

June 18-23 - Pride Week at Kanine Social

Kanine Social in Jacksonville's Brooklyn area is hosting a series of events from June 18 to June 23 in honor of Pride month. On Tuesday, June 18, there will be Pride-inspired trivia from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sunday, June 23, there will be a Pride brunch from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

June 20 - Alewife + Aardwolf: A Colorful Collaboration

Alewife and Aardwolf are teaming up for a fundraising event benefitting PFLAG. 

There will be Aardwolf Jacksonville Pride on tap, an English-style pale ale in collaboration with Equality Florida. Each pint sold will help raise money for PFLAG's Jacksonville Scholarship Fund. Raffle tickets will also be avaliable for purchase, with all proceeds going directly to PFLAG.

Mayor Donna Deegan, the City of Jacksonville and Jax River City Pride is hosting the Pride month ceremony on Friday, June 28. This year's theme is "Celebrating the Diversity Within Our Community."

June 29 - Acosta Bridge Pride March

The 4th Annual Acosta Bridge Pride March will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the San Marco Skyway parking lot. Organizers are asking those who want to help light up the bridge to download a screen color app on their phone or bring "standard" non-neon color glow sticks.
