JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Whistle Express Car Wash, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization 'Children of Fallen Patriots' (CFP), is giving free car washes to veterans and active-duty service members on Memorial Day, according to a news release.
In honor of brave sacrifices made by our nation's military members, both current and veterans, Whistle Express is also donating $2,500 to CFP, which provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, the release says.
"At Whistle Express, we are deeply committed to supporting our military families and honoring the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country," Whistle Express CEO Jose Costa said in the release. "Through our partnership with the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children left behind by our fallen heroes. And we hope to add a small win to the days of everyone who has served for our country with our free wash promotion on Memorial Day."
