JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Firefighters are telling First Coast News that lightning reportedly struck Pine Forest Elementary School in Englewood Wednesday evening.
Firefighters with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department told First Coast News the lightning struck the equipment room, causing an electrical fire.
No injuries were reported.
The lightning strike comes as thunderstorms roll through the First Coast.
