JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious package in the Avenues area Thursday morning.
Philips Highway between Shad Road and Regal Cinema was blocked due to police activity in the area. However, roadways in the area are now open.
